Okay, I'm not even sure how to title this one because boy is it a bloody mouthful. In any case, this! Was a hard list! I wasn't sure initially if I even had books like these, but after looking, I had a lot of nostalgia!

Anyway! Here's the list!

The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall
↪ Okay, so this was a more series long thing! But with this first book, I was sooo not liking the first half. But then the second half! It got so much more action packed and interesting!

 The Falconer by Elizabeth May
Same thing with the previous book (so it'll probably happen a lot, haha). The series got better and more developed after the first book!

Chase the Dark by Annette Marie
↪ I wasn't the biggest fan of Piper when I first read this. But the second time, the third, it got so, so much better. I love this series now!

The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Caron
↪ Series long thing—again! And what a fun series it is!

 Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes
↪ Series long thing—sort of. I'm not a fan anymore but! Up until like the third book, I was super invested, haha

Kissing Max Holden by Katy Upperman
↪ Oh boy. So um, yes, I did find parts of this enjoyable, but the initial... well. The cheating. I struggled with that SO MUCH and I hated it SO MUCH.

 Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
↪ Guilty pleasure. She's definitely a guilty pleasure author, lmao.

The Hearts We Sold by Emily Lloyd-Jones
↪ The first few chapters were slow and I wasn't too into it, a bit hesitant. BUT BOY DID THAT CHANGE AND THIS BROKE MY HEART, bye.

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
↪ This was more... hesitance on my part. I think a part of me didn't want to like it, but I ended up loving it a lot! Such a fun book!

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
↪ Oh, yes, this was unexpected. I do love this book, but, every time I start it, every time I reread, there's that struggle to fully get into the story. Of course, I love this book to death, but it's always there lol.

Do you guys have any books that you struggled over, or hesitated to start or like?
